Advantage IQ Founder Returns to His Roots
Keith Bass rejoins company as senior director of business development

SPOKANE, Wash., Aug. 25 // -- Keith Bass, founder and former director of sales for Advantage IQ, the provider of comprehensive expense management solutions, has returned to the company after just over a year away. His commitment and loyalty to the company prompted his return to serve as senior director of business development. Bass will establish and manage a formalized channel and partner program. His focus will be to grow the business through selection of sales channels, which complement current sales and product initiatives.

"We're thrilled to welcome Keith back onto the team," said Ed Schlect, vice president, corporate business development at Advantage IQ. "He brings his experience gained over the last year back to the company that he spent 12 years building into the pioneer of the outsourced utility bill payment and utility information management industry. Keith was integral to the development of this company and is an invaluable addition to our business development team."

Prior to his return to Advantage IQ, Bass served as director of sales for Dallas-based startup Broadstar Wind Systems. In this position, he was responsible for business development within the utility, as well as commercial and industrial channels as the company expanded product and brand visibility both in the U.S. and globally.

Bass brings 23 years of experience in the energy and energy services industry, along with first-hand involvement in several successful start-up efforts. During his 11-year career with Montana Power, he spent four years on the project team that opened up the Northwestern Resources Co. Coal/Lignite Surface Mine in Jewett, TX. During the remaining seven years, he helped introduce and manage the major accounts program that focused on clients representing $30 million in annual revenues for Montana Power's Utility Division.

He also worked with Northern Indiana Public Service Company Industries (or NIPSCO) where he introduced and managed a commercial customer national accounts program. Bass also served on the Workshop Advisory Committee for Edison Electric Institute's (EEI) National Accounts program for many years.

Bass holds B.S. and M.A. degrees from Sam Houston State University.
