Avista Natural Gas Construction Project Wrapping Up Along Highway 95
Work will continue on secondary roads through October

Avista crews will be completing installation of its new natural gas line this week along Highway 95 from Bottle Bay Road to the Lake Pend Oreille (long) bridge and along Sagle Road. Pedestrians and cyclists using the bike path adjacent to Highway 95 will be detoured around the construction in certain places.

“We thank residents for their patience as we complete construction along Hwy. 95 and apologize for the inconvenience to drivers and to residents using the bike path,” said Peggy George, Avista’s construction project coordinator for the Sagle natural gas expansion. “Construction will move next week to Brisboys and Sherwood roads, so residents can expect minor traffic interruptions in those locations.”

Avista is extending natural gas service to approximately 550 residents and businesses along Highway 95 from Davis Road to the Lake Pend Oreille (long) bridge in Sagle. Construction will be completed by October 2008. Residents with questions on the project can contact George at (208) 265-6960.
