Avista Wrapping up Storm Restoration Work
Over 90 percent of customers returned to service in less than 24 hours

Spokane, Wash.: SPOKANE, Wash. – Jan. 28, 2008, 3:30 p.m.: Avista crews made excellent progress today restoring service to customers who lost power as a result of yesterday’s winter storm. At this time about 400 total customers remain without power; however, Avista is anticipating that the majority of those customers will have service by about 6:00 p.m. this evening. Crews will continue working until all customers are returned to service.

Areas with outages at this time include:
Spokane area – 206
Coeur d’Alene area – 174
Sandpoint – 21
