SPOKANE, Wash. – June 15, 2016: Avista Corp. (NYSE: AVA) today announced that Latisha Hill has been named senior vice president for Avista Development, a subsidiary of Spokane, Wash.-based Avista Corporation. Hill will focus on community economic development through optimizing strategic investments that leverage the strengths of local and regional partnerships.

Hill joined Avista in 2005 as a special projects coordinator. She has held positions as regional research and project manager, and regional business manager. Most recently Hill served as manager of consulting and analytics in Avista’s human resources department. Prior to joining Avista, Hill was the neighborhood network service lead for Kiemle & Hagood and worked in business development at AHANA.
Hill is a graduate of Eastern Washington University with a master’s degree in urban and regional planning. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications-public relations from Washington State University.
