Outage Scheduled for June 8 to Impact Avista and Inland Power & Light Customers
BPA transmission line repairs require temporary power shutdown

Spokane, Wash.: Avista and Inland Power & Light are advising customers that there will be a planned power outage in several communities on Friday, June 8. The outage will begin at 12:01 a.m. and last until approximately 5:00 a.m.

Approximately 878 Avista customers in the towns of Rosalia, Pine City, Malden and Spangle, as well as customers in rural areas east and west of Highway 195 from Rosalia to Spangle will be impacted. About 1,150 Inland Power & Light members in Rosalia and Spangle will also be impacted by the planned outage.

This outage will occur to allow the Bonneville Power Administration to safely replace insulators on transmission lines providing service to these areas.
