Planned Outage to Occur May 8
Construction work requires temporary power shutdown

Spokane, Wash.: Avista is advising customers that there will be a planned power outage in several communities on Tuesday, May 8. The outage will begin at 1:00 a.m. and last until approximately 6:00 a.m.

Areas affected will include the towns of Latah, Waverly, Fairfield and Rockford. Customers in rural areas in the vicinity of SR27 from Latah to Rockford will also be affected.

This outage will occur because of construction at an Avista electric substation to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of power for our customers.
